PREVAILING WAGES: The contractor and all subcontractors shall pay the prevailing wage currently in force in this area for all craft trades and workmen employed in the execution of this contract. For the duration of the contract for this bid, should the prevailing wage rates be revised by the Department of Labor, the revised rates shall apply to the contract and be the responsibility of the bidder. In the event of a change in the rates, the University will notify the contractor and the subcontractors of the revised rates. In addition, all contractors' bonds must include provisions to guarantee that if the prevailing wage rate is changed during the course of the contract, the revised rates will apply to the bonds.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:15 pm on February 23, 2007 in Sherman Hall 224.
