Comments:
Proposals were evaluated based on the criteria listed in the document and awarded to the proposer with the highest score. Bid summary: Southwest Contract - $1,161.05 set/147.85 points; Foliot Furniture - $1,125.74 set/143.2 points (up charges for small orders and 2% increase for 3rd yr); Ecologic Industries - $1,166.72 set/133.6 points; RT London - $1,376.24 set/131.1 points; Moduform - $1,470.61 set/114.25 points; DCI, Inc. - $1,360.75 set/90.35 points; and, Adden Furniture - $1,541.83 set/ 81.65 points (3% increase for 3rd yr). Three bids were rejected for failure to submit the Board of Election certificate and were not evaluated: University Loft - $962.90 set; Leeder Furniture LLC - $1,168 set; and, Furniture by Thurston - $978.90. A minority goal was not set for this project.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

Proposal documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
