Project Description
Western Illinois University is seeking design services for the renovation of two existing 13-story residence halls.
Letter Submission
Qualifications and supporting materials will be accepted at the address below until 4:00 PM, Friday September 11, 2009:

Macomb, IL 61455

Submittals of qualifications must include: One page summary of why your firm should be considered for selection; CDB Standard Form 255; Minimum of three relevant recent references; Examples of projects of a similar nature, including project estimates and actual construction costs, provide an owner contact for each example; Additional information felt to be useful.
Submittals are to be sent to: Mr. Mark Blaylock, Western Illinois University, Physical Plant, One University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455-1390.
The University will host a walk through of the facility on August 26, 2009 at 1:00 pm local time. All participants should meet at the 1st floor entrance of Lincoln Residence Hall.
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
  • Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
  • Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
