Western Illinois University is seeking design services for the removal and replacement of the existing roof (approximately 20,000 sq ft) and the associated air handling unit of the South Quad Dining Center. The selected firm will initially assist University representatives in the refinement of the project scope and budget followed by provision of full design and applicable bid and construction administrative services for the project. The project budget is $450,000.
Submittals are to include a one page summary of why your firm should be considered for selection on this particular project; CDB Standard Form 255; a minimum of three relevant recent references; examples of projects of a similar nature, including project estimates and actual construction costs (include an owner contact person for each example); and any additional useful information.
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
  • Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
  • Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
  • Utilize an AutoCAD compatible system to provide documents.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
