The University awarded a contract for Tutoring Management Software.
The University will award an agreement for Tutoring Management Software to support the Illinois Tutoring Initiative for Spring 2022 - Spring 2023. Tutoring management will aid the Initiative in hiring, matching and monitoring tutors assigned to students statewide from various school districts.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) Tutoring management will aid the Initiative in hiring, matching and monitoring tutors assigned to students statewide from various school districts. Software is necessary immediately in order to support the grant work starting in December.
