The University awarded a contract for charter bus transportation for Athletics.
The University requires charter bus transportation for competition travel for trips originating in Carbondale (round trip) and competition sites (local and one way).
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) Athletic events are exempt.
