This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) RetCam Envision's illumination and wide field of view provide the best image quality for baby eye exams. These features result in images that provide a higher level of confidence for patient evaluations and consultations. Color images can be viewed in full-screen for maximum ophthalmic visualization of detail, early detection, and timely intervention. Detachable 130 lens and optional portrait lens provide greater visualization with color images and RetCam Envision Light Shaping Technology that can be viewed in full-screen mode on a 21.5" monitor. The lens can be removed easily for cleaning and disinfecting with minimal downtime.
