The University awarded a contract for two Roche ULTRA analyzers.
Purchase of two Roche ULTRA analyzers as well as reagents and consumables necessary for the operation of the analyzers and special staining modules used to perform Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH) for diagnosis of disease and cancer screening for UI Health patients.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) This procurement will allow the Laboratories to continue to perform IHC and ISH testing for UI Health patients.
