At the time when the original contract with Advisory Board membership was pursued by Hospital Administration , it was only envisioned for Healthcare, Nursing and Pharmacy. The contract was processed accordingly. Later on it was deemed necessary to include Imaging as the module provides very valuable data points and information, which will benefit the hospital. Imaging is a very profitable business cost center for the hospital and it is requested to include the Imaging Performance Partnership (IPP) in the contract. We need to add the Imaging Performance partnership to the existing contract.

The University awarded a contract for access to best practice resources.
Provides UIH and Health Sciences System w/unlimited, direct and immediate access to analysts, researchers, and senior consultants to discuss any practice or urn deep on unique issues. Advisory Board staff are available to provide follow-up support and networking contacts, as well as share documents obtained during the course of research. Membership access is utilized to identify best practice research on health care strategy in an all-inclusive membership model comprehensive of research studies, webinars, cohort networking, and annual meetings.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for membership in professional, academic, research, or athletic organizations on behalf of a public institution of higher education, an employee of a public institution of higher education, or a student at a public institution of higher education.
