The Faxitron Path is a specimen radiography system designed specifically for pathology. With a large field of view and high-resolution detector the Faxitron Path system is designed to help you deliver greater efficiency and exceptional patient care in Pathology.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) This procurement is in the best interests of the University because the Faxitron Path system offers
unparalleled efficiency and resolution in pathology imaging, leading to more timely results for
