Announcement of an Exempt Purchase

The 3D printer for micro-architected, macroscale ceramic and metallic structures can print green parts with high resolution features and pixel sizes of 40 microns or 15 microns so that ceramic parts, comprised of Alumina or Zirconia, or metallic parts, comprised of stainless steel or Inconel, can be printed with features sizes of the order of 50-100 microns.

This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations.
