Change Order Amount: $32,150
The University recently utilized the College Student Personnel program to do a review of the need for the shuttle bus program. The preliminary results indicate a change to the future of the shuttle bus program. At this time, the lead time for new shuttle shuttle buses is currently 12 months due to volatile market conditions and computer chip shortages. It is in the best interest of the University to proceed with a 12 month extension for the amount of $32,150.00.

A bid was received from Midwest Transit, Kankakee IL but did not meet the bidding bus requirements, only an alternate was submitted.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.
