The University awarded a contract for utility work for Ameren for CVA Transformer.
Illinois State University awarded a contract for utility service work for Ameren Illinois for the CVA Electrical Vault & Tunnel Transformer project.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for contract with a railroad or utility that requires the State to reimburse for the relocation of utilities for construction or other public purpose. (30 ILCS 500/1-10(b)(15)) The use of Ameren Illinois is in regards to infrastructure work required to be conducted by the campus electrical supplier as a part of the upgrades to the CVA Electrical Vault & Tunnel Transformer project.
