The University awarded a contract for Support and Training Services for PROWD Initiative.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, along with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, has contracted with American Institutes for Research, to develop a sustainability plan to include LWIA capacity-building services, professional development and training, development of implementation protocols, and support for grant staff during implementation, under the Partners for Reentry Opportunities and Workforce Development (PROWD) initiative.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations.
