Southern Illinois University Edwardsville has contracted with University of Illinois-Springfield to develop the e-learning Digiscape curriculum to provide on-demand, self-guided training for returning residents participating in the Partners for Re-entry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) grant, through the Illinois Dept. of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and the U.S. Department of Labor, PTE #DCEO-FY25-016, DJ392292275A17, Sub-Award #760044-001.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations.
