The University awarded a contract for E-educational materials for UIC College of Nursing.
E-educational materials for UIC College of Nursing students. Also includes NCLEX test prep, and student success strategies and information. This is for the Summer PREPARE Program for pre-licensure students. Equipment Includes: ATI TEAS 7 COMPUTER Launch: Nursing Academic Readiness
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for periodicals, books, subscriptions, database licenses, and other publications procured for use by a university library or academic department, except for expenditures related to procuring textbooks for student use or materials for resale or rental. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(5)) This procurement is in the best interest of the University, as these e-educational resources will support the success of UIC Nursing students. This includes, but is not limited to, on-time graduation and first-time NCLEX pass rates.
