The University awarded a contract for International Student Recruitment Services.
International student recruitment services in South Korea for UIC College of Business graduate programs, including MBA, Masters of Science and Online MBA enrollment support.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures incurred outside of the
United States for the recruitment of international
students. (30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b) (11) If not approved, UIC may lose international enrollment and related tuition revenue from South Korea. Because payment is only made for students who enroll and pay tuition, the avoided recruitment fees may be outweighed by the loss of tuition revenue.
