This is for Western Illinois University's Tri States Public Radio/WIUM, Macomb, IL for FY26.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for programming and broadcast license rights for university-operated radio and television stations(30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(7)) Tri States Public Radio is the NPR affiliate station for a large region of west-central Illinois, southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri. Public radio broadcasts provide the best and in many cases the only access to high-quality news, information and cultural programming that is available. NPR also provides seamless integration of local and national content to the Tri States Public Radio website.
