Construction Management Services and Programming Services for conversion, alteration and renovation of Douglas Hall, (formerly Douglas Library), third floor of approximately 56,000 square foot into a Chicago State University College of Pharmacy facility. Work to demolish, convert, alteration and renovate the interior space are anticipated. Upgrades to building mechanical and electrical systems are required with specific attention to energy efficiencies and accessibility compliance required.

Full scope of project work is to be phased. Phase I: initial work to abate interior asbestos and provide new fully adhered membrane roof, metal copings, flashings and drainage measures. Phase II: scope is to provide overall conceptual design and an aggressive fast track schedule for design and construction of approximately 18,000 square feet of programmed space for use by Fall Semester 2008. Phase III: scope is proposed that full develops the conceptual design and construction documentation for construction of the remainder of the programmed space to complete the College of Pharmacy facility.
