The University awarded a contract for executive search firm services.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which immediate action was needed to prevent any disruption in University services.
Chicago State University again, seeks the services of Youngblood and Associates, to conclude their executive search for a vice president for the University Office of Financial and Administrative Affairs. Chicago State University had a change in administration and the Board of Trustees of the University recommended that all administrative hiring would be made by the new interim president. Dr. Frank Pogue, the interim president of Chicago State University, addressing both the administrative and financial needs of the University, appointed an internal administrator from the ranks of the University to serve as interim vice president for financial and administrative affairs until a qualified candidate can be hired. The interim appointment has become taxing upon the administrative resources of the University. Therefore, the University in an effort to prevent serious disruption of the University services, it became necessary for the University to again engage the services of Youngblood and Associate to complete the executive search for a qualified candidate to fulfill this critical position.
