The Board of Trustees of Chicago State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the architectural services for the Student Union Building project.
Design services are needed to remodel, renovate and enclose the Student Union Building Terrace to accommodate a game room, television lounge, study rooms, Evening and Commuter Student Services Office and student recreation area. The architect shall include in their proposal the relocation of existing offices and activities within the current facility. The architect shall review the entire facility and include designs to insure ADA accessibility into the newly created spaces and the building in general. A $25 non-refundable document fee is required to obtain contract documents. Three coppies of submittals should be sent to: Gwendolyn Morrison, Director of Physical Facilities Planning and Management, Chicago State University, O & M Room 200, 9501 S. King Drive, Chicago, IL 60628.
Bids will be received up to the hour of 4:00 PM local time, on Friday, June 15, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled for Friday, June 1, 2001 at 10:00 AM in the Physical Plant Building Room 102.
