Comments:

Sterling Computers was awarded sections A & B of the bid package. The three low bidders for section A & B did not meet the specifications. Two did not bid the specified screen size for the tablets and one did not meet the minimum requirements for memory, hard drive, and operating system. All of these requirements are critical to our use of the tablets. GovConnection was the low bidder on sections C & D.

The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
