ADDENDUM # 1 The vendor due date for submitting question in writing has been changed to Thursday April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Local Time. The bid opening date has been changed to Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Local Time.

The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) seek bids for the transportation of its students for a variety of programs and events. This includes routine transportation to Research Sites and Athletic Events as well as ad hoc field trips scheduled as the year progresses.
Any contract resulting from this solicitation will have an initial term of the date of execution of the contract through June 30, 2019. In no event will the total term of the contract, including the initial term, any renewal terms, and any extensions exceed 10 years. Subject to the maximum total term limitation, The University reserves the right to renew for a total of four (4) years in one of the following manners: a) One renewal covering the entire renewal allowance b) Individual one-year renewals up to and including the entire renewal allowance, or c) Any combination of full or partial-year renewals up to and including the entire renewal allowance.
All questions / concerns regarding this solicitation, including specifications, must be in written form and submitted to the Solicitation Contact no later than Thursday March 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Local Time. Questions received and Agency/University responses may be posted as an addendum to the original solicitation on the Bulletin; only these written responses to questions shall be binding on the University. Vendors are responsible for monitoring the Bulletin for addenda and other updates.
Bid Due Date: Submitted responses must be received by IMSA's Procurement Services Department on or before Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Local Time. Responses submitted late will not be considered.
Minorities, Females and Persons with Disabilities Participation and Utilization Plan: This solicitation contains a goal of 5% to include businesses owned and controlled by minorities, females and persons with disabilities in the State?s procurement and contracting / subcontracting processes. Vendor must complete and attach the BEP Utilization Plan and Letter of Intent which can be found at: http://www.illinois.gov/cpo/HigherEd/Pages/Forms.aspx

Included in this addendum 1 are vendor questions received via email and the State's response to those questions. Vendors are instructed to read this entire package before attempting to complete the information required therein. 1. Change Vendor Due Date for Questions from March 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. local time to THURSDAY APRIL 5, 2018 AT 2 P.M. LOCAL TIME 2. Change Bid Submission Due Date from Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. local time to TUESDAY MAY 1, 2018 AT 2 P.M. LOCAL TIME

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable. This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. There is a BEP goal for this procurement. See solicitation documentation for details. The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
