There is a voluntary prebid meeting and site visit scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00am. Prospective bidders will meet ISU project manager Tony Herter at the south entrance of Horton Field House (metered parking is available at the Redbird Arena east parking lot 702 W. College Ave, Normal IL 61761) to gain access to the roof. This prebid meeting is not mandatory, but prospective bidders are advised that this is the only access they will have to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions prior to the bid deadline.
The University is committed to transparent, competitive bidding and welcomes requests for information and questions concerning this bid. All answers will be posted via addendum. To give questions appropriate consideration and to give bidders time to respond to the resulting clarifications, the University requests that all questions be submitted no later than 4:30pm CST on Friday, May 22, 2015 to Corey W. Leslie at cwlesli@ilstu.edu. The University cannot assure a timely response to questions received after this time.
REGISTRATION IN A U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR APPROVED APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING PROGRAM IS REQUIRED ON PUBLIC WORKS BY PROCUREMENT CODE (30 ILCS 500/30-22). Illinois State University requests that you submit a Certificate of Registration in an approved Apprenticeship and Training Program issued by the Office of Apprenticeship Training, Employer and Labor Services, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, with your bid.
