The University awarded a contract for a live musical performance.
The University has scheduled a live performance November 3, 2022. The Gravy Train Tour including Yung Gravy and bbno$ will perform at Braden Auditorium.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) The University has entered into an agreement with Wasserman Music to provide the services of both artists for a fee of $43,500 for Yung Gravy and $29,000 for bbno$.
