Request for Information: Interim Academic Office Space

The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University on behalf of Facilities Planning (University) is seeking Proposals from qualified providers regarding the availability of leased office space. The University wishes to lease 30,000 to 35,000 square feet of contiguous office space for interim academic office space located within a 15 minute walking distance to the center of the campus (center of the Quadrangle). This property will be used primarily for temporary faculty office space for academic programs during the remodeling of campus buildings. The leased space will include faculty offices, administrative department areas, meeting and support spaces during the lease period.
The initial contract will begin upon occupancy and continue for approximately 60 months with ending date coinciding with the University fiscal year end, June 30. The contract should have annual renewable options of a 12 month contract for a maximum total contract term of ten (10) years. The University reserves the sole right to renew agreements for any or all of the option periods specified based on the continuing need and favorable market conditions, when in the best interest of the University. The University also reserves the right to exercise any of the renewal options early or to exercise more than one option at a time.
