for parking facility landscaping.

The bid opening has been extended to Wednesday April 13, 2005.

The successful, qualified bidder will provide all labor, material and equipment required to complete the project known as Parking Facility Landscaping, Project No. 77-2000-0105. Work consists of providing amended topsoil and mulch and various plantings to include trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses and perennials within various areas specified on the university's main campus. Previously installed work, which is not part of this contract, includes underdrainage which connects new planters and islands to storm systems. All work to be completed by a landscape contractor with appropriate experience and qualifications, and in strict accordance with the project drawings and specifications.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on 30 March 2005 at 9:00am, in the Student Union Room 216.

Bid security of $5,000 will be required.

Obtain bidding documents after 25 March 2005 at Northeastern Illinois University, Facilities Maintenance Building, 5500 North St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625; 773-442-5251; no deposit required.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
