The Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University is seeking Proposals from a qualified full service legal firm to provide the following services:
- Negotiate on behalf of Northeastern Illinois University in a public real estate transaction.
- Represent the University in discussions between the City of Chicago and a property developer in securing tax increment finance (TIF) revenue to support the construction, remodeling and infrastructure needs of the University.
It is anticipated that a contract for an initial one year term will commence upon execution of the contract, with the option to renew for a one year term at the same terms and conditions based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds.
