The Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the classroom stairwell/corridor door panic devices project (Bid # R39678).
The project includes the furnishing and installing of all necessary labor, material, and equipment required to complete the project known as Classroom Stairwell/Corridor Panic Devices, Project No. 09-0000-0902, consisting of supplying and installing new panic door device hardware on 20 pairs of stairwell doors in the Classroom Building.
Contractors can contact Mily Roman at 773-442-5230 or e-mail M-Roman2@neiu.edu to obtain a bid package for the project. Bid security requirements are stated in the bid document.
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, February 18, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, February 10, 2003 at 9:00am in the Student Union, Room 219.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Award may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid documents.
