NEIU will accept proposals via the e-bidding portal in the Higher Procurement Bulletin OR via hard copy at the address listed above.
The Board of Trustees for Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) requests proposals from licensed firms specializing in commercial real estate and real estate brokerage, marketing and leasing services, negotiating ground leases and/or real estate development agreements, and owners representative services for the University's El Centro property located in Chicago, Illinois. The University is interested in pursuing a ground lease with one or more developers for the El Centro property owned by the University.
As a State of Illinois entity, the University will follow all applicable State regulations. It is the intent of the University to award a contract to one vendor. The Board of Trustees will have the final decision as to the use and/or development of the El Centro property.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights
(IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable.
There is a 30 percent BEP goal for this procurement. See solicitation documentation for details.
The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
