for stereo microscopes (Bid # C10311-0066M). Southern Illinois University Carbondale wishes to purchase 13 stereo microscopes with trinocular head, to include:

  • SZ 40 body, (0.57 x -4.0x) with 45 degree eye tubes
  • Free working distance of 110 mm
  • Binocular observation tube viewing angle of 45 degrees
  • Interlocking right and left eyepiece tubes
  • Adjustable interpupilliary distance of 50-76mm
  • Left eyepiece tube with +/- 5 graduated dioptic range
  • Forward position zoom adjustment knobs with objective magnification graduations
  • Black and white stage plate for stereo
  • Paired stage clips
  • Dust cover
  • Pohototube unit for SZ40/60/11, S-0142, S-0143
  • (2) 10X Eyepieces with removable eyeshields, FN22, F or SZ30, 40,60, reticle shelf to accept 24mm reticle

Award of the contract will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
