for a soil combustion nitrogen/carbon analyzer (Bid # C217M). The unit being requested is a nitrogen/carbon analyzer, which must meet the following specifications:

  • Dual furnace
  • Autoloader with 32 position carousel
  • Windows operating system
  • Single channel kit
  • Must have the capability of direct introduction of liquid samples by optional manual or automatic injection devices and configured for analysis of gaseous samples
  • Instrument control software to allow detector gain to be alternted between x1 and x10 during analysis for greater sensitivity for low levels of specific elements
  • Must use continuous flow design for analysis of all components
  • Continuous flow design must interface with isotope ratio mass spectrometers for analysis of stable isotopes of nitrogen and carbon or trace sulfur analyses
An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
