The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University Carbondale hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the substructure repair to a pedestrian overpass project.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is soliciting bids to furnish all labor, material and equipment to provide all General Work for the substructure rehabilitation of the North Pedestrian Overpass.

A contract will be issued to the contractor submitting the lowest proposal which meets the intent of the bid documents.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Wednesday, January 10, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

  • Bid security (see complete bid for details)
  • All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A pre-bid meeting to discuss the project will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. CST at the Physical Plant Conference Room.
