Public Higher Education Bulletin

The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University Carbondale hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the security camera installation project.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is accepting bids to furnish all labor, material and equipment to provide all electrical work for the installation of security cameras at Boomer and Neely Hall for University Housing. The work under the contract includes, but shall not necessarily be limited to the installation of security cameras and all wiring and hardware associated with the cameras.

A contract will be issued to the lowest bidder meeting the requirements and specifications identified in the bid documents.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Monday, May 14, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

• Bid security (see complete bid for details)
• All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A pre-bid meeting to discuss this project will be held on Monday, May 7, 2001 at 10 a.m. CDST at the Physical Plant Conference Room.
