$37,825.05.
The system will include maintenance for six months.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
IT security staff is trained in the underlying technology that powers the SourceFire IPS. Years of staff experience and successful results with SourceFire technology will provide better security for SIUC than if we had to start all over with another unknown vendor. Delays in security coverage will exist if we are forced to choose another vendor, and our investment in specialized tuning and training classes will be wasted.
