Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids from responsible vendors to furnish and deliver approximately 25,000 gallons of unleaded regular gasoline, 68,700 gallons of off road diesel fuel, 36,000 gallons of on road B11 & B20 soy blend diesel fuel, and 3,200 gallons of 89 octane unleaded gasoline to Travel Service, Physical Plant, Touch of Nature, Motorcycle Safety, University Farms Service Center, University Farms Horticulture Center, and University Farms Agronomy Center for the period of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019 as outlined in the attached documentation.
Registration for conducting business in the State of Illinois (30 ILCS 500/20-43) Sec. 20-43: Bidder or offeror authorized to do business in Illinois. In addition to meeting any other requirement of law or rule, a person (other than an individual acting as a sole proprietor) may qualify as a bidder or offeror under this Code only if the person is a legal entity authorized to do business in Illinois. Board of Elections: Public Act 095-0971, which became effective on January 1, 2009, requires vendors to register with the State Board of Elections before bidding on any State contract that exceeds $50,000.
