The vendor has agreed to extend the contract through October 2006 under the terms and conditions of the original award with no price increase. It is the University's intention to solicit a request for proposal prior to October 2006.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

for excess medical professional insurance brokerage services.

Southern Illiniois University Carbondale is requesting proposals for the services of a licensed brokerage firm to serve, as broker of record, to provide brokerage and risk management services for the marketing and placement of the University's excess medical professional insurance coverages.

Proposals will be reviewed by a University appointed panel and an award will be made to the most qualified proposer whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the University, taking into consideration price and the evaluation factors set forth in the request for proposal.
