Comments:
Connor Company was determined by the evaluation team to be the best overall respondent to the request for proposal. The technical proposal of Connor Company, as well as their pricing proposal, was determined to be in the best interest of the University. Connor Company bid a total of $433,544.30 on the market basket core list of items required in the request for proposal. The total contract price reflects the estimated expenditure through June 30, 2004.

for miscellaneous plumbing supplies.
Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for a Prime Vendor contract to supply miscellaneous plumbing supplies.
The resulting contract will require the successful proposer to provide "desk top" delivery of requested plumbing supplies to various campus locations as well as established departmental storerooms. The successful proposer must submit pricing on a core list of products as well as indicate a percentage discount off of manufacturers list price for non-core list items. The Contractor must have the ability to deliver product within 2 business days of an order being placed. Orders shall be 95-98% complete within 48 hours. The successful proposer must have the ability to process procurement (credit) card transactions.
A contract will be awarded to the proposer determined by an evaluation team to offer the best value in terms of price and service to the University
At its sole option, the University reserves the right to renew the resulting contract for four additional twelve month periods beginning July 1, 2004 under the sames terms and conditions, contingent upon need and availability of funds.
