This advertisement is for Architects/Engineers to provide professional services for the replacement of roofs that have failed on the Carbondale campus of Southern Illinois University. This project will be administered by the Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB).
The University owns approximately 525 buildings. The majority of the roofs are either built-up ballasted or fully-adhered membrane systems. This project will remove existing roof systems and replace them with a fully adhered membrane system. The current University standard for roof systems requires a minimum 30-year warranty.
Potential facilities scheduled for replacement systems include, but are not limited to, J. W. Neckers Building, Engineering Building (B-Wing), Pulliam Hall, and Shryock Auditorium.
