The University awarded a contract for architect to design replacement of Housing bldg.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which
immediate action was needed to prevent any disruption in University services.
An eight apartment (4 residents in each apartment) building located in the Cougar Village Housing complex was struck by lightning, caught on fire and was determined a total loss. The building must be designed, construction complete and ready for occupancy in August of 2010.
