The SIU Audiology Clinic serves a variety of hearing impaired patients, many of whom are able to benefit from hearing aids. Although the clinic utilizes many different hearing aid manufacturers, a large number of the hearing aids required are available exclusively through GN ReSound Corporation because of several special features. These features include directional microphones, telecoils, multiple memory, remote controls, multiple frequency band adjustments and multiple circuit parameters.
