UIC Business has the need for a series of terminals that provide the Faculty and Students financial data regarding real time pricing , volume, data, news and activity. These terminals will provide the mechanism for the UIC Business staff to teach the UIC Business students all about the financial markets and how to work in the real time financial industry. The CME Foundation grant has allowed us to establish a financial market laboratory for student use. Faculty incorporates the solution in various finance and accounting courses in order to show the students how to use it and help prepare them for financial analysis and other similar careers. Our Faculty depend on the solution for faculty research on financial markets and similar topics.
