Currently the eCentaurus platform continues to serve critical functions to the operations of the Customer CARE Center. These include but not limited to: the ability to receive new patient appointment requests from the web interface known as WebLink. These web requests appointments are substantial and is the largest non-phone related appointment request source our department supports. In addition, the WebLink also connects to our Find A Doctor website for provider profiles information that is available for patients review. eCentaurus also supports key functions in the requests for Illinois Department of Corrections (aka IDOC) appointments this is a critical area our department supports and is responsible for reporting and documenting these patients. Another key area is in quality control where the system is used extensively for the process of review and training of new personal that begin to schedule appointments for UI Health. Our nurses will then be able to assess for appointment and documentation accuracy. Finally, the system?s reporting functionality is used extensively in evaluating our quality and production for our scheduled appointments.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the procurement is software license, upgrade or maintenance.
