The University awarded a contract for Defibrillator/AED Replacement Project.
This Cooperative purchase is made in accordance with 30 ILCS 525, 30 ILCS 500/25-15(b) and 44 ILL. Admin. Code 4.2036(e).
The defibrillator is the standard in emergency care. Defibrillators are devices that send an electric pulse or shock to the heart to restore a normal heartbeat. They are used to prevent or correct an arrhythmia, an uneven heartbeat that is too slow or too fast. If the heart suddenly stops, defibrillators can also help it beat again.
