for lease of transit-style buses.

The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois on behalf of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Department of Facilities Management is seeking proposals from qualified firms to lease transit-style buses beginning on or about July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2010. The University reserves the option to lease one additional bus per year for 48 months beginning on or about July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2011; July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2012; and July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2013.

The University will hold a pre-proposal conference at 1351 S. Morgan, Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2005 in Room 102. Representatives of the University will be present to answer any questions regarding the services requested or proposal procedures. Prospective proposers must respond to Purchasing at (312) 996-2850 on or before October 11, 2005 with firm name and number of attendees. A maximum of 3 representatives from each firm may attend.
