The University awarded a contract for SleepMed Inc sleep services.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which immediate action was needed to prevent any disruption in University services.
SleepMed Incorporated provides sleep study services in the UI Health Sleep Science Center to patients. Servciesw include from receiving prescribed sleep medications and durable medical equipment to treat sleep disorders. In addition, any cessation of sleep study polysomnography services would prevent UI Health patients from being cleared for preoperative procedures for tonsillectomy or bariatric surgery. The UI Health Sleep Science Center, therefore, respectfully submits this emergency purchase, as the RFP IJW022 pricing negotiations continue with vendor SleepMed Inc.
