Project Description
The project consists of the construction of a new Computer Sciences classroom building. The building is approximately 250,000 square feet and is a steel frame with masonry/face brick and curtain wall skin.
Prequalification
The bid documents will be provided to prequalified bidders by LZT Associates, Inc., 124 S. W. Adams St., Suite 450, Peoria, IL 61602, (309-673-3100), hereinafter called the architect/engineer.
The prequalification process begins with the prospective bidders' submittal of a Prequalification Application. Copies of the application may be obtained from Turner Construction Company, 701 Devonshire Drive, C-49, Suite 103G, Champaign, IL 61820, 217-353-7890, Attention: Steve Street, hereinafter called the Construction Manager. The prequalification deadline is 4:00 p.m., prevailing time on Friday, June 29, 2001. Prequalification applications received after the deadline will be returned unopened to the applicant.
After the prequalification deadline, all those applicants who are prequalified for the project will be notified by the construction manager. Bid documents will be distributed by the architect/engineer to only those applicants who are prequalified.
