Project Description
The 15,000 NASF renovation of the east wing of the Metallurgy and Mining Building, floors one through four, will allow for the creation of modern laboratory space and offices for faculty involved in a broad range of MatSE fields (Metallurgy, Polymers, Ceramics and Biomaterials). Requirements will include fume hoods, power, water and vibration free space for specific pieces of equipment. Renovation should plan on utilizing the north campus chiller system that was recently brought into the building.
Proposals
Firms should submit four (4) copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 4:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2000, addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
