The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Goodwin and Green elevator replacement at Urbana project.
The project consists of the removal of an existing seven-stop electric traction elevator and replacement in the same shaft with new seven-stop electric traction elevator, doors, motor, drives, controls, etc. Ancillary work includes miscellaneous mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and communication work.
Bids for Divisions II through V work will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, July 1, 2003. Bids for Division I work will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, July 1, 2003. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, July 1, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 136, Daniels Hall at 1010 W. Green St., Urbana, IL 61801 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, June 20, 2003. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
