The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Memorial Stadium Southwest Tower Upper Concourse Vehicular Ramp at the Urbana Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of masonry and stone removal, replacement, repair, and new brick and stone masonry work, excavation, engineered fill, concrete work and metal railings as specified on the drawings.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, March 26, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held at the O&M Maintenance Shop located in the southwest tower at Memorial Stadium at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, March 19, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
